Lead SA Launches Twitter Take Overs

For several weeks over over November and December, Lead SA handed over its Twitter handle to prominent South African Changemakers to inspire activism and spark discussion on issues that are important to our Changemakers in the Twittersphere.

Take over guests included Fab Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, Cosatu Founder Jay Naidoo, Poet and writer Primrose Mrwebi, Lawson Naidoo from CASAC ( Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution) and David Lewis from Corruption Watch.

Meet our Take over Changemakers below and read about what they debated in the Twittersphere:

Professor Phakeng opened the discussion with the question: "Why is it that when people become successful they forget about where they come from and move on to greener pastures so to say?"

Jay Naidoo hosted a robust conversation oncorruption and free education

Primrose Mrwebi encouraged open and free discussions around abuse and seeking help, especially pertinent around #16DaysofActivism

On World Anti-Corruption Day David Lewis and his team at Corruption Watch tackled issues of corruption and the need for individual and nationwide involvement in fixing a broken system.

Lawson Naidoo from CASAC ( Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution) tackled topics surrounding the Constitution, State Capture and the Save SA Campaign.

Thank you to everyone who participated in #LeaderTweets !
