Trevor Noah schools 'colour blind' right-winger on racial politics

Mzantsi-born comedian Trevor Noah called out US political commentator Tomi Lahren for her controversial remarks.

Lahren has critisised the Black Lives Matter movement and American football quarterback Colin Kaepernick for his protests during the US national anthem.

She has a segment on the right-wing media outlet The Blaze and her video rants often go viral on Facebook.

During an interview on The Daily Show, the pair debated her racial bias and some of the inflammatory comments she has made which have risen her to fame.

The 24-year-old conservative told Noah why she has no respect for "Black Lives Matter", describing them as the new Ku Klux Klan (KKK).

What did the KKK do?

Tomi Lahren

In the interview, Lahren claimed that she sees no colour or race when criticising people or movements.

That's when Noah stepped in.

There's nothing wrong with seeing colour, it's how you treat colour that's important.
