Department of Health has launched the Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital dedicated exclusively to pediatric medicine and care.
Interim CEO Joe Seoloane says they will not be in a rush to open the hospital doors to the public, as they need to make sure they recruit key staff required and make sure all equipment is working optimally.
Seoloane says the 200 bedded hospital will provide services to children from public and private sector, who have special conditions.
