1 cup (250 ml) canola and olive oil blend
4 cloves garlic, crushed
juice of 2 lemons
2 tsp (10 ml) paprika
1 tsp (5 ml) ground cumin
1 tsp (5 ml) ground coriander
1 tsp ( 5ml) sugar or honey
salt and milled pepper
fresh herbs of your choice.
Makes about 1.5 cups
Mix all ingredients, except herbs together. Bottle and use as needed.
To use, add a handful of chopped fresh herbs, pour over meat or chicken and marinate for an hour or longer if time allows.
You can also use as a basting sauce.
