Parliament not bypassed on decision to withdraw from ICC argues State

Government has dismissed arguments made by the Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Pretoria High Court that the executive bypassed Parliament when making a decision to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

According to EWN reporter, Barry Bateman, advocate representing the State, Jeremy Gauntlett, argued that the DA is rushing the matter, and processes have been followed.
