[WATCH] #702Unplugged with Cassper, Kwesta, Mafikizolo and popular jazz artists

The Afternoon Drive always ends on a high note on Fridays with #702Unplugged.

Some of South Africa's most renowned musicians came to bless listeners with great sounds and heated performances.

We have put together some of our top performances from 2016.

One of South Africa's most loved duos, Mafikizolo, played songs from their different albums - from Emlanjeni, to the 2013's Khona and now Colours of Africa.

702 Unplugged also brought the Katlehong born 'King of Afrikan Rap' Kwesta.

Kwesta is also one of SA's top rappers and songwriters.

South African superstar singer and actress, Kelly Khumalo, also blessed us with her music.

World famous South African DJ extraodinaire was also in the #702Unplugged studio! Click here to watch Black Coffee's performance.

And we went international!

We featured Jasmine Ying Thompson better known professionally as Jasmine Thompson during her visit to SA in April.

Jasmine is a 15-year-old English and Chinese singer and songwriter.

Listeners were blown away by the performance of Robin Parsons.

Robin's voice replicates the distinctive tones of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson.

His dancing mirrors the legend in every detail, step for step right down to the smallest of mannerisms and his look.

We also gave you a taste of what to expect from the 2016 Standard Bank Joy of Jazz.

We also had Ringo Madlingozi and Moreira Chonguica performing in front of about 100 guests and listeners at Sandton Sun hotel during Afternoon Drive show outside broadcast a week before 2016 Standard Bank Joy of Jazz kicked off. Click here to watch them playing sweet melodies.
