Singer Patricia Lewis speaks of music career, and being a mother

For What In The World Happened To this week, Xolani Gwala, hunted down South Africa's top-selling female recording artist in history, Patricia Lewis.

Lewis says she stopped her music career six years ago when her son started school, and now stays with her family in Durban.

She says she was very surprised by the success of her first album, Don't Tempt Me, which achieved sales of 125 000.

I said you know what, I have had 30 years of this most amazing and surprisingly successful career.
