Dr Diane Parker, Department of Higher Education and Training

702/Cape Talk's Eusebius McKaiser spoke to director-general of the Department of Higher Education and Training, Dr Diane Parker, regarding the matter.

She said developing TVET colleges remained a priority to ensure that the country produces the required technical skills over the next couple of years.

They are under sever stress because we need to expand TVET colleges more effectively but the actual financing and amount of finance for expansion is very small.
