Higher education institutions across South Africa are faced with enormous pressure with having to accommodate prospective students for the 2017 academic year.

Dr Diane Parker, Department of Higher Education and Training

702/Cape Talk's Eusebius McKaiser spoke to director-general of the Department of Higher Education and Training, Dr Diane Parker, regarding the matter.

She said developing TVET colleges remained a priority to ensure that the country produces the required technical skills over the next couple of years.
