Tweeps throw shade as court shows Motsoeneng the door

The Western Cape High court has ruled that Hlaudi Motsoeneng, SABC's group executive of corporate affairs, must be removed from his position.

On Monday, Judge Owen Rogers ruled that Motsoeneng should not hold any position at the public broadcaster.

This comes after the DA filed an application to have Motsoeneng dismissed.

After his previous appointment as COO was set aside in September, Motsoeneng returned to the SABC as group executive for corporate affairs.

There have also been reports about irregular salary increases, and big bonuses at the broadcaster.

At the same time, an inquiry into the SABC board's fitness to do its work is currently underway.
