Cape Town pre-SONA protests and Trump mark dramatic 2016

EWN reporter, Xolani Koyana, highlighted the United States elections and the protests that descended into chaos outside Parliament before the 2016 State of the Nation Address.

Speaking to 702's Africa Melane, Koyana said that while the US elections revealed deep racial divisions, the political messaging around was targeted at home viewing through television channels.
