The Gauteng Department has urged those who wish to complain to be more specific about their encounters with public servants.
This follows several calls about slack responses from emergency services in the province.
But department spokesperson Steve Mabona says residents must differentiate between private ambulance services and the government's paramedic crews.
There have been discussions about two incidents, one involving the death of an infant and another with assisting an elderly patient after 3 days.
Mabona asks that individuals come forward with detailed information in order for the department to effectively follow up on concerns.
