Gambia's President Yahya Jammeh has called for a fresh round of elections after the results declared his loss at the 2016 elections.
Security forces have since stormed the offices of the Independent Electoral Commission and barred employees from entering the building.
A delegation from ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) traveled to the country to convince Jammeh to concede defeat peacefully.
