Animal Anti-Cruelty League introduces a new cat hotel

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League in Durban has introduced a new boarding facility to accommodate your cat over the holiday.

The establishment is just off the N3 highway and is better known for its dedicated Adoption Department. It is currently home to over 40 abandoned animals.

The newly built hotel service has just over 10 suites, air conditioning as well as an astroturf for your cat’s comfort.

General Manager Judy Gibson has urged the public to assist with either food and blankets as well as funding, in order to continue the organisation’s general operations.

“Many people want to give goods because they know that the animal is going to get that particular item but we do need to have staffing in order to carry out all the things we do, like abuse cases and sterilisation, so we desperately need funding at the moment.”
