Kenneth Brown denies allegations of suspicious cash deposits

Outgoing National Treasury's chief procurement officer, Kenneth Brown, denies allegations of suspicious transactions and cash deposits made into his account around the payment of two properties.

President of the Progressive Professionals Forum, Mzwanele Manyi, has publicly stated that he had sent police a dossier he received detailing large sums of money deposited into Brown’s account.

Mail and Guardian has also reported that it has seen a dossier which shows several payments made into Brown’s home loan.

Brown says he has not seen the dossier, and is willing to cooperate with Hawks on investigations.
