Zuma implicated in forming sham union to spy on Amcu

President Jacob Zuma and other ministers allegedly formed Workers Association Union (WAU) as a covert intelligence project.

According to News24 investigative journalist, Pieter-Louis Myburgh, WAU received instruction from the President to spy on rival unions.

Myburgh says one of the founding members of WAU, Thebe Maswabi, has claimed in a civil suit that WAU was formed for national security and to destabilise other unions.

Maswabi brought the case against Zuma, several government ministers and departments in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.

Some of the attachments prove these claims, include some pictures of motor vehicles that were supposedly given to these guys by the SSA.
