New York bomber pleads not guilty to attempted murder charge

The man who was arrested in September for trying to set off bombs outside a bar in New Jersey has pleaded not guilty to an attempted murder charge.

He was hospitalised for gunshot wounds after a confrontation with police officers.

702'S Bruce Whitfield spoke to US correspondent, Harley Carnes, about this incident and other developments across the country.

He was a suspect who tried to set off bombs in New York and New Jersey, injuring more than 30 people.
