The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) CEO, Dr Cleeve Robertson, says South Africa should learn from the Australian transport system to curb road deaths.
Robertson is the former head of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the Western Cape.
He says there is evidence that the Australian road safety strategy, which was reviewed recently, works.
