Depressed, anxious, lonely? How a counselor can help you

The South African Anxiety and Depression Group (Sadag) says many people mask depression during this time of year by turning to alcohol.

Sadag operations manager, Tracey Feinstein, said this has been an extremely difficult year for people for various reasons like financial issues, employment or lack thereof, relationship issues and chronic illness.

These can trigger a diagnosis of mental illness such as depression. It's not always a happy reflection time.
