There are 74 000 bone marrow donors in South Africa.

Dr Charlotte Ingram from the South African Bone Marrow Registry talks about the difficulties for multi ethnic groups in finding a match.

There is a one in a 100 000 chance to find a match so it is difficult, but even more so for multi ethnic groups.
