As matric pupils expect to get their results this week, Council on Higher Education chairperson, Themba Mosia, says parents need to ensure that their children apply to credible tertiary institutions.
Mosia says parents and students need to check before registration whether the institution is accredited with the Council on Higher Education.

Most of them are private, because if they are public they would be known and be on the database of Department of Higher Education and Training.— Professor Themba Mosia, Council on Higher Education chairperson
He says one can also call the Department of Higher Education or Council on Higher Education to check the credibility of institutions and courses offered.
