SA-born Trevor Rabin first South African inducted in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

South African born Trevor Rabin is to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, along with his fellow band members from Yes.

Rabin is most famous locally as a frontmen in the hugely successful 1970s South African pop group Rabbit.

According to reports, Rabin could be the first South African to be given this honour.

CapeTalk's John Maytham (standing in for Kieno Kammies) spoke to Trevor Rabin about his music career and how he got into the movie industry.

Speaking to John, Rabin explained how he gave Steven Seagal (American actor) guitar lessons.
