Does cold calling work? And how does it feel to make those calls?

Cold calling is the solicitation of business from potential customers who have had no prior contact with the salesperson conducting the call.

Cold calling is generally done over the phone, but can also be done in-person by door-to-door salespeople.

People are very rude and often abuse cold callers. Some cold callers, though, are good at it and have very high emotional intelligence.
