Jub Jub and co-accused released from behind bars

South African hip-hop artist Molemo 'Jub Jub' Maarohanye has been released on parole, the Correctional Services Department has confirmed.

He and Themba Tshabalala served four of the eight years handed down to them for culpable homicide.

Both men have been granted parole and will continue to participate in correctional programmes.

Maarohanye and Tshabalala crashed their Mini Coopers into a group of school pupils in 2010 while racing down a Soweto street, killing four of them and leaving two brain-damaged.
