South Africa awaits decision to recall Ford Kuga (or not)

Ford South Africa and the National Consumer Commission are expected to hold a joint media briefing regarding the future of Ford Kuga vehicles.

Several Ford Kugas have caught fire since the death Reshall Jimmy in December 2015 when his vehicle burst into flames.

Ford SA has reiterated that they will not recall vehicles until the data before them suggests there is something wrong with the vehicles.

As we have seen now there are around 45 reported on Ford Kugas catching fire since December 2015.
