Davos WEF is about the economy of the super rich 1% - Oxfam Inequality Report

Oxfam launched an inequality report to coincide with the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. WEF meeting is due to start in Davos on Tuesday in Switzerland and will run until Friday.

Oxfam says this is the most elitist gatherings and the most expensive economic event on the calendar.

EWN reporter Ziyanda Ngcobo says Oxfam's report talks about the economy of the 1% which rules the whole nation and only benefiting a few.

The report says there are a lot of assumptions that drives the economy of the 1% which owns a total of 42% of South Africa's wealth.

They highlighted the fact that global events such as Brexit, WEF and election of Trump are a display of the public anger with inequality that is creating political shock wave across the globe.
