Gordhan to respond to Guptas latest attack on Friday

Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan is expected to respond to the Gupta family's affidavit on Friday.

The controversial family says Gordhan's damning affidavit - which reveals suspicious transactions by them amounting to nearly R7 billion - has factual and legal errors.

The family also says the minister's application was politically motivated.

EWN reporter Gaye Davis says Treasury released a statement saying the Oakbay Investment affidavit does not contest Gordhan's legal contention.
