CNN chose facts over ratings - Africa Check

Senior researcher at Africa Check, Kate Wilkinson, says media and journalists have a responsibility to give people the truth.

Wilkinson says CNN's decision to refuse to air the statement of the White House Press Secretary live despite enormous amount of public interest shows that they favour facts over rating.

CNN monitored the press briefing and reported on it later with pointing out some false information.
