Fake Twitter accounts benefit Zuma and the Guptas - Justice Malala

Author and political commentator, Justice Malala says the fake Twitter accounts that emerged over the weekend benefit the Gupta family and President Jacob Zuma and his family.

It tells us who benefits because the whole thing is about discrediting two main people, Former public Protector Thuli Madonsela and Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan.

I believe this is about deflecting attention from the clear and present danger presented by the state capture that has been pointed out by people like Mcebisi Jonas.

Justice Malala, Author and political commentator

Malala says these fake accounts might not work in the short run but they will manage to poison the conversations within society with this propaganda.

At some point, we will find ourselves in a society where right and wrong, legal and illegal and corruption are essentially on the same par.

Justice Malala, Author and political commentator

He says it becomes crucial for the media to always expose lies and wrongdoing and be the guardians of the truth.
