EFF will deal with Absa in its own time - Malema

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, has claimed the attack on Absa is driven by State Security Minister David Mahlobo and the Gupta family.

Malema's silence on the Absa lifeboat story has been criticised by his former comrade Black First Land First leader Andile Mngxitama.

Malema says the EFF will still occupy Absa, but in their own time and will not join other campaigns against the bank.

During a media briefing on Monday, he criticised Public Protector Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane and labelled her an 'spy'.
