SA stars that should be auctioned for a date (callers are crushing hard)

It turns out there are many South African celebrities that could make a fortune for charity, if they auctioned themselves off for a date.

In light of British actor Idris Elba's auction for a good cause, presenter Eusebius Mckaiser asked CapeTalk and 702 listeners which local stars they would pay money to go on a date with.

Dozens of listeners responded online and on-air, adding their nominees to list - which includes many of our very own radio personalities.

Some listeners are even willing to go to extremes - like selling their house, kidney or children for a night out with their Mzansi faves.

Below are some of the politicians and personalities that would be auctioned off to the highest bidder:

  • Patrice Motsepe
  • Mcebisi Jonas
  • Boity Thulo
  • Xolani Gwala
  • Prof Shingai Mutambirwa
  • Thuli Madonsela
  • Trevor Noah
  • Africa Melane
  • Alan Committie
  • Kofi Annan
  • Julius Malema
  • Thandiswa Mazwai
  • Bonang Matheba
  • Dikgang Moseneke
  • Azania Mosaka
  • Jeremy maggs
  • Romeo Kumalo
  • Redi Tlhabi
  • Aurelie Kalenga
  • Mbuyiseni Ndlozi
