Business Leadership South Africa (BLSA) has called on President Jacob Zuma to sign into law the Financial Intelligence Centre Amendment Act (“the amendment”), passed by Parliament in May 2016.

It says the legislation is of pivotal importance and the objections to it are without merit.

This bill is about the prevention of money laundering, white collar crime, corruption, terrorism and other nefarious financial activities…
