Local tourism bucking the world Airbnb trend

MEC for Economic Opportunities Alan Winde says the tourism industry around the world needs to find a way to let both Airbnb and hotels co-exist.

Looking at the trends, Winde says more and more people are using technology for tourism needs like Uber and Airbnb.

He spoke about countries that have banned Airbnb and the tensions around it, saying they should let these industries work together.

We would like to have a system that enables both existing industries as well as disruptive industries to work together so that everyone manages to share the system that creates the economic opportunities.
