Gambian President Adama Barrow has appointed senior politician Fatoumata Tambajang as vice President.

Tambajang is a long-time cabinet minister and worked hard to unite opposition parties.

He has previously said former President Yahya Jammeh should be prosecuted for alleged crimes against humanity.
