AIC hopeful Matatiele will rejoin KZN

African Independent Congress (AIC) President Mandla Galo, says they will now draw up the memorandum of understanding with the African National Congress (ANC) regarding Matatiele demarcation talks.

Galo says they have given the ANC until 31 March to show 'tangible' progress on the agreement.

He says there is progress in talks following the meeting with the ANC.

The talks form part of a coalition agreement made when the ANC failed to win an outright majority in Ekurhuleni and Rustenburg.
