Bolani claims that the ANC was running a R50 million covert campaign to target opposition parties during last year's local government elections.
Bolani went to court asking a judge to force the ANC to pay her for her role in what she said was a project to use social media to spread disinformation.
Other prominent Twitter personalities and ANC supporters have also spoken out, including Kay Sexwale.
