I was never part of any political "war room" - Khaya Dlanga

Author and social media influencer, Khaya Dlanga, says he was never party to any ANC political party "war room". He admits he did an interview about voting, but presumed the platform was politically neutral.

He says he was never paid for Tweeting and re-Tweeting.

This follows documents which emerged showing a settlement agreement between PR expert Sihle Bolani and the party for handling the parties social media.

Bolani approached the courts to force the ANC to pay her for the job she did for them.

I was never part of any war room and it was quite surprising to see my name on some court documents

Dlanga says it's not surprising that political parties are paying people to tweet because the world is changing in terms of communications.

He says there are a lot of brands that are paying people to tweet on their behalf.

I think it would be very different when it comes to political organisations because one would assume that one is driven by conviction as opposed to money and I think that is really bad.
