African leaders agree on mass withdrawal from ICC

African leaders have adopted a strategy for a collective withdrawal from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Leaders made this non-binding decision on Tuesday as its 28th AU Summit which is currently underway.

Southern Africa editor of the Africa Report, Crystal Orderson, says countries will make individual decisions whether to withdraw.

Orderson says Botswana and a number of West African countries are against the withdrawal.
