MK veterans call for ANC NEC to be disbanded at June conference

Umkhonto we Sizwe veterans want African National Congress (ANC) to elect new interim leadership in its consultative conference in June.

Veterans want the entire national executive committee disbanded before the governing party's national conference in December.

Today MK veterans were presenting resolutions taken during their national council meeting last year and their gathering with ANC top six.

General Siphiwe Nyanda says there needs be an urgent review of the state of the ANC following the loss of major metros in the last local government elections.

We had a very good meeting on Monday with officials of the ANC.
