EFF to Parliament security: Watch your back!

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) secretary general, Godrich Gardee, says Parliament security continued to assault their members after they were kicked out of the National Assembly.

Gardee says they will not stop going to Parliament because "that's where they are paid to go" but will not allow President Jacob Zuma to speak because he broke his oath of office.

EFF members and Parliament security exchanged punches when the EFF was forcibly removed from the National Assembly.

They kick our members. They beat our members, and we are going to deal with it.

Godrich Gardee, EFF secretary general

It will also include [a] street fight because we can recognise them. As you meet in a corner somewhere in Parliament, you just beat the hell out of a bastard.

Godrich Gardee, EFF secretary general

African National Congress (ANC) Chief Whip, Jackson Mthembu, says it is embarrassing that EFF did not obey the rules of Parliament.

He says the EFF abused Parliamentary privilege and denigrated the President and presiding officers.

Listen hear for more from Jackson Mthembu and how the EFF intends fighting Parliament security...
