Eusebius McKaiser says President Jacob Zuma has lied about a number of issues in his State of the Nation Address delivered in Parliament yesterday.
His description of the State of the Nation is inaccurate. It's false. The programme of action he outlined in the second hour of his speech is disingenuous.— Eusebius McKaiser
He talks about the economy for example, and he talks about weird things, such as 'we are now on the way to having a labour market that is showing signs of stability'. I mean that's absolute nonsense.— Eusebius McKaiser
He then just tosses out numbers, like 1.3% economic growth, which is bad anyway because that's not conducive to reducing inequality and absorbing unemployed masses into the labour market. He doesn't tell us where he got that number anyway. That's a pipe dream.— Eusebius McKaiser
If you are an alien coming to South Africa for the first time in South Africa you would think that all is well... lies, damn lies Mr President.— Eusebius McKaiser
