Founder and CEO of Taxify, Markus Villig, says Taxify is growing well in South Africa adding thousands of customers monthly.
The international cab service was introduced in South Africa in 2015.
When initial approaches to partner with taxi associations did not work out, Taxify introduced private drivers.
Passengers can request a cab via smart phone application or phone call.
Villig says he is in the country to meet with local stakeholders to find ways of growing the business.
