Public Protector aims to make her office accessible to the public

Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane held her first public meeting on Thursday in the Johannesburg CBD.

EWN reporter, Clement Manyathela says the Public Protector in her speech stressed how significant it is to increase public access to her office.

She spoke about her plans for the next seven years that she plans to visits all nine provinces to give all stake holders an ear.

Some people appreciated the public protector for undertaking this public forum and hearing their concerns.

Manyathela says Mkhwebane urged the public to come forward and voice their concerns with her office and also to engage with her directly so that her office would be able to deal with these issues and be effective in its mandate.
