Gauteng chief whip, Brian Hlongwa, says there are people who have put themselves before the country, but the African National Congress (ANC) is working on combating this behavior.
The ANC Youth League has come out saying Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan should be fired following the bank collusion scandal, involving South African major banks accused of currency manipulation.
Hlongwa says Minister Pravin Gordhan is 'doing a sterling job and they do not see any case against him'.
