The EFF says nothing about Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan's annual Budget Speech lends itself to 'radical economic transformation'.
EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi says the budget has instead continued the "ideological macro-economic planning" which has characterised previous budget statements from the ruling party.
There's nothing 'radical economic transformation' about it.— Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, EFF spokesperson
Everything about 'radical economic transformation', in relation to land and nationalisation that may have been echoed by Zuma was nowhere to be found in the Budget.— Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, EFF spokesperson
While Ndlozi says the EFF welcomes the protection of poor people's income, the party is disappointed that corporate income tax remains untouched.
He says the tax collection measures on the individual are unfair, while big business does not feel the any impact - despite evidence of collusion and elicit financial flows.
