Caller Julie says luxury train stuck in the Karoo all day.
The Shosholoza Meyl Premier Classe Luxury Train has been stuck for hours and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon, says Julie.
There is a problem with the line they were told.
Apparently part of the line has sunk - which they knew about before we even set off because another train went through the same problem on Wednesday.— Julie, caller stuck on a train
Nobody from Prasa or the Meyl can give us any information and the poor train manager keeps coming and saying I am so sorry but i can't give you anymore feedback.— Julie, caller stuck on a train
On the plus side, she says the service and the staff on the train has been spectacular.
The train is lovely but the delay is impossible. I have two small children with me and they are climbing the walls.— Julie, caller stuck on a train
