Zuma visits Soshanguve in crime combat campaign

President Jacob Zuma is due to speak to Soshanguve residents as part of his anti-crime programme.

EWN reporter, Barry Bateman, says the President was supposed to be at the Soshanguve Crossing Mall at 10am, but it's understood that Zuma is still in a meeting with people suffering from drug addiction at a local church.

Zuma raised concerns about drug abuse in the area during his State of the Nation Address (Sona).

The President will also visit the local police station to discuss ways to fight crime.
