Silo Luxury Hotel now open

We have built this property to be an icon of the Cape and we really want Cape Town to be proud of this hotel like perhaps the Italians are with Ferrari.

The Silo Luxury Hotel in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town is finally open.

The relatively small space built in the grain elevator portion of the historic grain silo complex has 28 rooms in total, including a one bedroom penthouse.

It occupies six floors above what will become the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Mocaa) and is part of the Royal Portfolio group of hotels.

Each uniquely designed suit is offered at prices ranging up to R19 500 per night, with the penthouse fetching the highest price of R140 000 a night.

It has the most remarkable views looking up across the whole of the Cape.
