Families want justice for initiates' deaths

Commission for Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL) is currently holding a three-day hearing into the deaths of young men at initiation schools.

The Commission is hearing evidence from family members who have lost their sons who either disappeared or died after going to the initiation school.

The cultural watchdog is investigating causes of deaths and culpability and wants to come up with recommendations to eradicate deaths.
