City monitoring top water users as water crisis deepens in Cape Town

The City of Cape Town is facing major water problems. The City has lost a lot of its water due to water leaks.

Teams from the City of Cape Town have visited a hundred private properties and have been able to ascertain the contributing factors to the city's water problems such as leaks, high consumption and faulty meters.

The monitoring of top consumers is ongoing.

Cape Town has around 113 days of usable water left.
