CEOs fight homelessness by sleeping outside, in the cold, on a cardboard box

CEO Sleepout, a concept to encourage CEOs to help fight homelessness, launched in South Africa on Tuesday.

Bernard Fehon created the concept in Australia 10 years ago because he didn’t want CEOs to gorge themselves at fund raisers, but to experience what the homeless feel like.

The event will take place on Thursday, 18 June 2015, outside the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The night will be long and freezing cold...

Each participating CEO will donate R100 000 to Girls and Boys Town and will get a sleeping bag, and a cardboard box, for their trouble.
